This workshop will explain how students can obtain education and certificates locally to become an aircraft mechanic. It will also include the downsides and the upsides of being an aircraft mechanic to give a realistic view of the career. Students will get to know all the benefits, income, and growth that is available in being an aircraft mechanic for a major airline.
Meet Sara Augusto
Aircraft Mechanic, American Airlines
Sara obtained many degrees before deciding and changing her career path in her late 20's in pursuit of Associates degrees and certificates in Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics related to aircrafts. She went to college locally in San Diego and currently works for a major airline as an aircraft mechanic.
