Meet Dr. Susan Taffer
Professor, Grand Canyon University
Dr. Taffer is the Principal Founder of World Connection's Foundation, a 501c3 educational non-profit organization. She is a widely recognized educator, humanitarian, transitional strategist, and social entrepreneur. Dr. Taffer holds the esteemed position of Doctoral Chair and Professor at Grand Canyon University, where she passionately engages in lecturing and leads research projects for learners in the disciplines of Business Administration, Education, and Theoretical Psychology. Recently, she assumed the role of President and CEO at the innovative Ed-Tech start-up, College for World Connections (CWC), powered by Joticle, which uses AI to develop essential life skills. CWC is a leader in accessible education for all ages, focusing on safety in AI and digital learning. The company is led by experienced educators who have transitioned into entrepreneurship.
Meet Dr. Twyla A. Williams
Professor, Abilene Christian University
Dr. Williams is a seasoned educator, researcher and leader in higher education, has made significant contributions to student outcomes through her commitment to equitable access to quality education. As Program Chair of a university Higher Education program, she has played a critical role in developing doctoral programs that focus on Educational and Organizational Leadership. In her College of Learning and Development, one of the current projects focuses on creating learning environments where artificial intelligence (AI) is positioned as a thought-partner, which can be used to enhance academic outcomes. Dr. Williams’s research and presentations emphasize empowerment and academic achievement, while her educational philosophy places students at the forefront of every decision, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to improving educational outcomes.
