Youth Will

Non-Profit Organization

Youth Will is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering young people by amplifying youth voices, fostering youth development, and advocating for policies that prioritize the needs of youth.

Through the dedicated advocacy of community members and organizations like Youth Will, the Office of Child and Youth Success was established to improve the lives of children, youth, and families in San Diego.

Together, Youth Will and the Office of Child and Youth Success have partnered to raise public awareness about the Youth Commission and to inspire young people to become actively engaged in their communities.

As young leaders, your involvement in civic engagement is more important than ever—you have the power to shape the future. One way to make your voice heard is by joining the San Diego Youth Commission. While youth are impacted by city decisions, they often have limited opportunities to participate in the process. The Youth Commission empowers young people to engage in local government and provides city officials with valuable perspectives on youth-related issues. I encourage all young San Diegans to apply for a seat representing their council district because your voices and ideas matter. Thank you for being engaged and making a difference!
— Councilmember Marni von Wilpert, representative of District 5
